The Prophetic Time Clock Linked to the Church at Laodicea

Almost 2000 years ago, Jesus shared a message to seven churches in seven cities located in present-day western Turkey. That message appears in Revelation chapters 2 and 3.

When John wrote the book of Revelation, there were about 100 churches in greater Asia. So the question is: Why these seven churches? These churches were not the largest or most notable—two of the seven churches had grave issues. Many believe Jesus chose to speak to these churches because their location and ministry are representative of both future periods in church history and the major issues individuals and churches struggle with today (for more information on the seven churches of Revelation, click HERE).

The church at Laodicea was complacent and focused more on material possessions than their spiritual mission. In many ways, and in most regions of the world today, it is clear the Laodicean church represents this church age.

The church is not mentioned after Revelation Chapter 3. There is a scene change at the beginning of chapter 4. The chapter begins with Jesus saying, “[John], come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” (Rev. 4:1b) Soon after the Tribulation, Seals (judgements) begin to unfold. The White Horse – a glimpse of the Antichrist in chapter 6 – introduces the terrors that are to come.

Sometime between the end of this church age (represented by the Laodicean Church), and the first seal, the Rapture will take place. Are you ready? Have you told your friends and family?

Visit RaptureKt.org for a resource designed to help with this. The Lord will return as a “thief in the night.” Let us do everything possible to prepare as many as possible for the return of the Lord.

Below is a live worship hour video teaching on the church at Laodicea. God bless you as you seek to grow in understanding of His gift, His Word.
